The 2nd Friday artwalk is this week so come by my studio if you can…
Here’s a new Alley image, photographed a couple of weeks ago in Chicago with my friend and filmmaker Noel. Years ago Noel was a video editor and director in the gang-heavy rap music industry where he had a few producers for clients. A number of hair raising confrontations made him opt out of this industry – his stories made my jaw drop.

But wait, there’s more!
Five of my pieces will hang informally in the Deer Path Art League in Lake Forest, IL (I’ve exhibited in their gallery in the past). The Art League gave me an Award of Excellence on Monday which was great!
And I’m the Visiting Artist of the month at the Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL. The school is nationally recognized for its excellence and for its focus on the arts. Fourteen 32×40’s are hanging in the school’s Rotunda Gallery until Sept 30, when I’ll be giving a talk and slideshow presentation to the students.
