Wagon
I found this wagon while walking around Fort Worth, Texas. It was in a holding pen outside the Cowtown Coliseum in the historic Stockyards district, where twice daily a cattle drive goes through the center of town.
The wagon is part of a wild west spectacle held weekly called Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show... just a few good reasons Fort Worth is called the "City of Cowboys"!! Unfortunately I couldn't see the show while I was there but its officially on my bucket list.... One day I will see Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show !
I found the wagon in the day and set up waiting for night to start lighting it.
The wagon is owned by Texas Cowboy Hall of Famer and Fort Worth icon, Hub Baker, who gave me the wagon's history. It was one of the freight wagons on the Cumberland Trail. It was also the wagon that was sent to get the scattered personal items of Wiley Post and Will Rogers after their fatal plane crash in 1935. Baker purchased it after the Texas sesquicentennial wagon train ended in Fort Worth in 1986 and has has been in the Ft Worth stockyards since then.
At the time of sale the wagon was owned by Paul Brugeman, who's wagon master was Leo Miller. He was the man who took the wagon and team to get the items of Post and Rogers. Leo was also the man who drove it 3600 miles on the Texas wagon train. There may be a pop quiz on the above history....

Prints larger than 16X20 are available as full-frame prints, without a white border or a window mat. If you want a white border, just let us know!

If you have a specific size requirement, that's no problem! Maybe the perfect size is somewhere between two of the sizes in the drop down list. In that case, the price would be the proportional difference. We?ve also stretched and cropped pieces for customers to fit precise spaces.
