Alleys & Ruins no. 105, Time is tickin (2008, Seattle, WA, 12:15am)

My night skies are often pink. It took me years to realize I get pink when moonlight mixes with the yellow from the sodium vapor lights. Behind the bright spots in the clouds of this image lies the moon trying to peer through Seattle's overcast skies. Time is Tickin was shot in the Sodo district, a neighborhood south of downtown where many industrial buildings have been converted to artists' studios and housing.
