Alleys & Ruins: the Book!

After 25 years of making the photographs, and years more writing, editing and designing, five pallets containing 5,200 pounds of books arrived at my studio.

Alleys & Ruins is finally real, finished and in my hands!

Nikki and I (and our little beagle Flo) celebrated with Bryan, my amazing editor, and Bob, who read an early manuscript, loved it, and quietly made a few things happen that pushed the book across the finish line.

Champagne was involved. There were a lot of boxes!

After the celebrations, the signed, numbered hardcover copies began shipping: 304 pages, 240 photographs, and my wild and unusual story behind the twenty-five years I spent creating the images.
