There have been many storms, including tornados, in this area during the past two weeks. Last night while shooting, lighting blasts were taking place every minute (I was worried I’d be rained out, or that the sky would be too bright). There was more lightning today…. Driving back from the show (in Milwaukee I always stay with a very nice family, the Rozgas), I saw a stunning sky. One area had an amazing montage of different clouds, at different levels, catching different hues of the sunset (picture below), while in another part of the sky there was a half rainbow. And then in another area the clouds were streaking down from the rain.

The art show I’m doing is put on by the Milwaukee Art Museum, founded in 1882. (I won an award here this weekend!) In 2001, the Quadracci Pavillion was completed and has since become a famous symbol of the city. Both the exterior and interior are breathtaking. I took these pictures today.

I was at the art show in Milwaukee today and bought a few of your small pieces. They are great and I am excited to see more of your work online. I like to take pictures as a hobby and took a bunch of the art museum, none of them turned out quite like yours, and I live here! Thank you for your photos.
