I arrived home last night after my 12-hr drive from Seattle, and had a sweet 10-hr sleep … aaaahhhhh!!!
Then I woke up just in time for another day of madness - scrambling to get an impossible number of critical things done in one day. Now, 9:15pm, I have to go to the airport for the red-eye to Detroit. I’ll be staying in the Midwest for 10 days and two shows: Uptown in Minneapolis this weekend, then Gold Coast in Chicago the following weekend, with some down-time in Ann Arbor and Detroit.
I’ll be checking out Tiger Stadium in Detroit at night. It was built a century ago and was declared a State of Michigan Historic Site…. Now they’re demolishing it. So much for Historic Sites… way to go Detroit! …real smart way of preserving your history…. Any way, I hope to find a good picture in the mess that remains.
